Watermark your images
Put a line of text or your logo on every photo in a batch and check it in a live preview. Each mark is sized from the picture's own width, so a thumbnail and a full-size original get the same look.
Add one or more images (JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and more).
or drop files here
PNG and SVG logos keep their transparency. JPG logos are placed as they are.
Each image keeps its format. GIF, BMP, HEIC and AVIF are saved as JPG, or as PNG when they have transparency. Photo metadata (EXIF, GPS) is not copied.
Your files are processed on your own device and never uploaded.
How to use it
- Drop your photos on the page or press ‘Choose files’. A whole batch is fine.
- Choose ‘Text’ or ‘Logo’ under ‘Watermark’. For text, replace the sample in ‘Watermark text’; for a logo, press ‘Choose logo’ and pick a file.
- Set ‘Size (% of image width)’, ‘Opacity’ and ‘Angle’, then choose a spot under ‘Position’ or select ‘Repeat across the image’.
- Flip through your photos with the arrows or ‘Show in preview’ to see the mark on each one.
- Press ‘Add watermark’, then download single files or ‘Download all (ZIP)’.
What it does
Readable lettering
Write one line or several, in a sans-serif, serif or monospace face, bold or italic. Pick one of five color swatches or any shade from the color picker. ‘Shadow’ is on to start, and ‘Outline’ adds a contrasting edge, so pale letters hold up on a bright sky or a white product background.
Logos with their transparency
The logo picker takes PNG, SVG, JPG, WebP and GIF files. PNG and SVG logos keep their see-through areas, so only the artwork lands on the photo; a JPG goes on as a plain rectangle.
Nine spots, or tiles
Pin the mark to a corner, an edge or the center, with a ‘Distance from the edge’ you control. Or switch to ‘Repeat across the image’, which lays the mark out in staggered rows with adjustable ‘Space between repeats’; the angle tilts the whole pattern.
Size, opacity and angle
‘Size (% of image width)’ is relative, so one setting suits every photo in the batch; text starts at 6% and a logo at 20%. Opacity runs from 5% to 100% and starts at 60%. Angle covers −180° to 180°, with one-tap buttons for −45°, 0°, 45° and 90°.
Check before you save
Use the previous and next arrows to look at each picture with the mark on it before you commit to the whole set. Your text, colors and layout are saved in this browser, so next time you start where you stopped. The logo file is not kept, and ‘Reset settings’ brings the defaults back.
Good to know
A visible mark says whose picture it is and makes casual reuse less tempting. In a corner at moderate opacity it stays out of the subject's way, which suits portfolio shots and product photos. Tiled and tilted at low opacity it covers the whole frame, which suits proofs and samples you send to a client before they pay.
Output follows the input: JPG, PNG and WebP keep their format, and GIF, BMP, HEIC and AVIF come out as JPG, or as PNG when they have transparent areas. ‘Quality’ (92 to start) sets JPG and WebP compression. Each file name ends in -watermarked, and the copies carry no EXIF data or GPS position.
Images larger than 16.7 megapixels are scaled down to that size so the browser can draw them, and the result line tells you when that happened. Nothing is uploaded: the photos and your logo stay on your device.
Questions and answers
How do I add my logo to a picture?
Switch ‘Watermark’ to ‘Logo’, press ‘Choose logo’ and select your file. A logo saved with a see-through background (PNG or SVG) looks cleanest, because no box is left around the artwork.
How do I watermark several photos in one go?
Drop in the whole set. Every photo gets the same mark, scaled to its own width, and ‘Download all (ZIP)’ collects the results.
How can I stop people cropping my watermark out?
Spread it over the picture: choose ‘Repeat across the image’ and tilt it with ‘Angle’, 45° for example. Nothing visible is impossible to edit out, but a mark that crosses the whole frame takes far more retouching than one parked in a corner.
How big should a watermark be?
Big enough to read when the photo is shown small, small enough to leave the subject alone. The starting sizes suit a corner mark; for a mark across the middle, raise ‘Size (% of image width)’ and lower ‘Opacity’ so it doesn't compete with the photo.
Does imgglide add its own mark?
No. Only the watermark you set up is drawn on your photos.
Is my logo stored anywhere?
The logo is never uploaded or saved. Close the page and it is gone; text, size and position are the settings your browser remembers.
